The DPA-800 works like a real photo album the user can leaf through the way he or she prefers. The device is equipped with an internal memory of 2 GB that can be increased to 16 GB with SD, MMC and MS memory cards. Thanks to the device's built-in compression software, it can store up to 10.000 photos, which is the equivalent of no less than 16 large traditional photo albums.
The 20cm wide TFT Active Matrix screen offers a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and supports JPEG and BMP formats. In order to find your photos more easily, you can sort them by name or by date. A built-in sensor ensures that whenever you turn the device vertically, upright photos will be rendered to fit the screen. The DPA-800 comes with a stand. This way, users can easily place the digital photo album on a piece of furniture, or show the photo to the entire family, exactly the way a slide show does. Moreover, it's possible to view the photos manually and at your own pace, simply by pressing a button. Thanks to its built-in battery, the DPA-800 can be operated for about three hours. In addition to this, the device will also work directly on the mains supply. Picture size can easily be changed with the supplied VSO Image Resizer software. Furthermore, this software offers several other user options, such as inserting a logo or text in the images, making copies, putting frames or renumbering all stored photos in one go.
The DPA-800 is available in black, white/beige or red, and comes with a protective cover, ideal to take the album anywhere with you.
